Tutoring & instruction

Three ways to work with Karen

Every format starts the same way — finding where your student actually is, then building from there. Social and emotional skills are woven through all of it, not treated as a separate add-on.

Workshops

Social & emotional skills

Social and emotional skills are a underlying dynamic to everything we do and is a key feature in how sessions are conducted and what is expected in both small group and one on one sessions. As a School Counselor with a PPS Credential this has a strong elemental value in not only building rapport but also in every interaction I have with the students I work with.

  • Social-emotional learning focus
  • Small group or family format

Getting started

Three steps, no commitment to begin

  1. 1

    Call or send a request

Tell Karen your student’s age, grade and what’s been hard. Two minutes on the phone or 30 seconds on the form.

  2. 2

    Consultation & baseline

Find out where your student actually is — not where a grade level says they should be. That reading becomes the starting point.

  3. 3

    Weekly lessons

One-on-one, small group, or a mix — scheduled around your week, mornings or afternoons.
